3 steps to incorporate a company
With the launch of Startup India scheme the company can be incorporated in couple of days now. Incorporating a company now
requires minimum documentation, 2 directors and a address to register your company.
Step 1: Digital signature application
Digital signature is a digitalised form of signature which is used for signing online form and documents.
The documents required for obtaining digital signature are photo, pan, identity proof and address proof.
The digital signature is generally valid for 2 years and can be used to file your tax return and ROC returns.
Step 2: DIN Appplication
Application for DIN is made using your digital signature. Documents required are a declaration in form
DIR 2, Pan and Address Proof. PAN is compulsory for Indian directors to obtain a DIN.
Step 3: INC 29
Once we have your DIN, we fill in INC 29 which has details like 1) Desired Name of Company 2) Registered
address of company 3) Name and details of promoter and directors 4) Shareholding pattern of promoters 5)
Address proof and identity proof of promoters, directors and registered address of company 6) Authorised
and paid up share capital of the company 7) Type of shares i.e preference or equity.
Once INC 29 is uploaded and all the documents and information is correct ROC issues a certificate of incorporation
and process stands competed.
